Our Department aligns with the University’s emphasis on internationalisation, digitalisation, and future-oriented education, providing students with intellectual, professional, and humanistic training alongside strong team spirit. Recognising the foundational importance of Law and Political Science to Public Administration, the Department has developed three key features:

Global, Digital, and Future-Oriented Competence – Cultivating students able to navigate the trends and practical demands of Public Administration and Law in the era of big data.

Integrated Interdisciplinary Education – Combining expertise in Public Administration, Law, Political Science, and social sciences with practical experience through collaborative projects, equipping students with legal reasoning, administrative management, and policy analysis skills.

Diverse and Inclusive Civic Education – Promoting civic responsibility and incorporating pluralistic perspectives, guided by the University’s eight core competencies, to equip students with adaptability to societal change and future challenges.

Looking ahead, the Department will continue to integrate teaching and research, fostering critical thinking and issue-oriented learning. It aspires to be both a “cradle for cultivating comprehensive administrative and management capabilities” and a “hub for public administration research,” while strengthening strategic partnerships with international research institutions, government agencies, and non-profit organisations.
